Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, Pawhuska, Oklahoma

Became friends with Frank J. Popper on facebook! Learned Buffalo and Prairie Dog are the bookends of the prairie, due to their ecosystem creating habits. They are both, along with fire, the reason why the great Plains was once so abundant with life. Learned about the Buffalo Commons twenty plus years later and American Prairie Reserve in Montana.
